I’ve got 5 unique and fun ideas below that you can make ahead of time (no last-minute stress here).

Easy Christmas Treats to Gift

From edible gemstones to next-level Stroopwafels, you’ll find easy Christmas treat gifts both you and the person receiving can get excited about.

1. Christmas Trail Mix Rice Krispies Ornaments

I started making Trail Mix Rice Krispie Blocks about two years ago, and I’m pretty obsessed.

My husband is, too!

You can gift these by making the original Trail Mix Rice Krispie Treats recipe, then cutting them into ornament shapes, and decorating the ornaments with icing and M&Ms.

Very simple (and I’ll bet you can decorate yours better than I did mine!).

I packaged these up with reusable, beeswax food wraps, that the gift recipient can reuse again and again.

Hint: my two favorite nut butters to use with these are Pecan Praline, and Walnut. You can pair them with any nuts that you want – I’ve tried them all!

2. Edible Gemstones (Almond Candy Clusters)

It’s kind of hard to coat almonds in a candy melt/coconut oil mixture and get them to look smooth. At least for an amateur baker, like myself.

But I figured out that when you coat those “unsmooth” almonds in edible glitter?

Well, they look like gem rocks!

Which makes a great Christmas treat to gift.

3. Snow-Dipped Stroopwafels

Stroopwafels are these wonderful Dutch treats you place over a hot mug of coffee or hot cocoa until the inside caramel part gets ooey and gooey and wonderful.

I had them for the first time when my husband, son, and I visited my family in Lancaster, PA. We went to a farmer’s market downtown, and this amazing smell wafted through the air from a tent.

It was an Amish person making homemade Stroopwafels!

While I don’t make my own homemade ones, I DO dress up the store-bought kind to make yummy Christmas treats to gift.

4. Hot Cocoa Ornaments

Hot Cocoa ornaments are so fun – you put them in a hot mug of milk or water, and they dissolve into a wonderful hot cocoa drink.

The edible glitter creates a really cool effect in the mug, plus the hot cocoa tastes yummy.

Hint: Did I mention that since we’re rolling these into the edible glitter, you can hide a lot of imperfections (thank the Lord – mine certainly had enough!).

5. Edible Cookie Dough Cutters

Cookie cutters are used mainly around Christmastime, so they make a great gift.

What makes these cookie cutters even better to give to someone?

Well, they contain edible cookie dough in them (the kind that is safe to eat)!

You can bet I would LOVE to be the recipient of a cookie cutter I can use over and over again, as well as yummy cookie dough I can eat right away.
