How to Make Edible Gemstones (Unique Treat to Gift)

Edible gemstones are such a unique Christmas treat to gift or a winter treat. You could even give these away as party favors!

How did I come up with almonds that, when dipped in candy melts and edible glitter, look like gemstones?

Well, I tried to make nice, smooth-looking, candy-coated almonds. It turns out that it’s kind of hard to coat almonds in a candy melt/coconut oil mixture and get them to look smooth.

At least for an amateur baker, like myself.

So, I decided to dip them into edible glitter.

Which makes them look like gem rocks!

These make such unique Christmas treat gifts, winter party favors, and candies to eat.
