Do you have financial intimacy with your partner?

I define financial intimacy as,

“Being able to work together and share your thoughts, feelings, needs, and wants with your partner about money in a safe space where you feel like you are being heard and that your needs are being reasonably met.”

It’s NOT…

  • Feeling intimidated to bring up the subject of money
  • Feeling criticized or ridiculed about your money decisions, money questions, etc.
  • Being dishonest about money management with one another

So, what part of financial intimacy does your relationship need to work on? Which part is your relationship very strong on?
