If we have to eat, we always split a McDonald's or Burger King meal and save $5-$8 that way. We usually try to eat a decent meal before going to the airport simply because everything is so overpriced. If you get a rent car, fill it up as far away from the airport as you can (like near your hotel if you aren't staying at the airport) since gas is more expensive the closer you get. On a different note, I'm blocked from your Chronicle site from work since I can't directly access Mom Houston...can you post your Chronicle URL?
