It’s Frugal Confessions Friday!!

Hello Frugal Confessions Readers! If you are new, here is the intro to this series.

I am a bit late getting this one up, but here goes:

I refuse to pay for cell phones. Whenever my cellphone plan is up (typically two years), I get one of the newest phones on the market at no cost to me (sometimes I have to send in for a rebate, but I definitely always get my money back). Then, since my last phone is just two years old, I resell it on eBay at a profit of typically $30-$50!

    I still have all but my 1st cell phone. They’re photo/video albums for me so I’d never get rid of them. Ditto with my computers, I used all but my current one for work and they are an ID thiefs dream so I’d never hand the hard drive over to someone. Far from being frugal, I get ripped off on phones everytime I buy one. The employees start high-fiving each other when they see me coming ; ) The upside is I walkout with exactly what I want.

    That’s a good idea. I had never considered selling my two year old phone on Ebay … I always take care of them and are in good condition. I think I will give it a go. Thanks for the idea.
