Frugal Confessions Friday

Hello Frugal Confessions Readers!
For those of you new to this series, check out the introduction here.
Here is my confession of the week:
Not only do I love to save Paul and I money, but I love to save my friends and family money! My friends and family in PA threw me a fabulous bridal shower, and at the end of it I snagged a beautiful banner that was in our wedding colors. The purpose? I knew my other friend at work was throwing us a work shower, and wanted to offer it to her to use (thus saving on decorations). Paul’s family also threw us a beautiful couples’ shower, at the end of which I snagged these very pretty hand-made petals in the exact color of our bridesmaid gowns. These were then used at our work shower as well! His sister-in-laws also gave us an unused matching table cover, and unused napkins. It all turned out great!
What is your confession of the week? I’d love to hear it.

I scored a free 17 oz. bottle of Balsamic vinegar @ HEB. I was out and am not real picky about that item so when I saw the buy one get one free coupon hanging off the ring I grabbed it. Have a great weekend

We used Entertainment book coupons all weekend with friends to save us all a little something.

I am a bit late chiming in, but better late then never
My fiance and I went to Randalls last weekend. Most of the McCormick spices were half off and then there was a coupon for another $1 off two. I picked up 6 spices and only spent $7.50! I cook a lot from scratch so I am always looking for deals on spices. We also discovered the spice market across from the produce market on Airline at 610…amazing!!! They sell the spices by the scoop and have some rockin’ deals!
