Ours was a Tempurpedic mattress and a bedroom furniture set for $6000, but the same general idea. I also know how hard it can be to say "no" to a great deal but it seems like it would have derailed your plans a bit. We got all our bills paid off (after 2 yrs of fighting it hard), the very next month he quit his job. (otherwise we would have had to continue making hefty payments or abandoned the idea of getting out of debt so quickly).

We needed another business to start and one literally fell into our laps.

We shared cash with some needy individuals and a long lost relative came into our lives to pay off a past due (16yrs) debt.

And the list goes on and on. I wonder if i too should have been seeing the coincidences a long time ago but was so wrapped up in the day to day living that it passed right by me….
