Hello Frugal Confessions Readers!
Anyone who has read my blog for even a shortwhile (thank you, by the way!) knows that I am a true believer in saving up for retirement. I am 27 years old, and firmly believe that by the time I get to retirement, I will be lucky to get some sardines and spam in a can from our government.
As such, I gathered some great articles together that I’ve read around the web on retirement.
Are you thinking about retiring early? Have you ever thought about the dark side of early retirement?
Len Penzo discusses how he does not want to sacrifice other financial goals by saving too much for retirement. In other words, his kids should not expect to receive an inheritance.
If you are unsure of which account to use for your retirement, check out Redeeming Riches post on which retirement account is right for you.
Finally, perhaps a phased retirement is right for you, rather than quitting the workforce cold turkey.
